So do I.

I rarely get the chance to rattle Brent's cage, though, so I took the
opportunity.  Lots of good comments about Nylaflow, both pro and con.  I must
say I'm still not sure which I'll use when I get that far.  I'll probably
assemble the Nylaflow that came with the kit, and then see how happy I am.
And then, if I get a big tax refund, maybe I'll buy DHI lines.  I dunno.  But
at least now I have lots of information, fact, rumor and opinion to guide me.

Concerning certification, I have fought that battle with NASA, but not the
FAA (yet).  It seems like there's no agency motivation for saying "yes, you
can fly" but a lot of motivation for saying "give me enough tests and
analysis so that if there ever is a problem, no matter how unlikely, I can
still keep my cushy government job".  While I'm sure that there are good
people in both agencies (I suppose I've offended yet another group, eh?) the
whole system seems to be spring-loaded to the "No, you can't" position.
Sometimes it amazes me that anything gets government permission to fly at all.
