At Sun n Fun and OSH a couple of Fly-Mart vendors usually have surplus new
old stock stainless steel braided flex lines.  I paid about $5.00 ea for
some in the 12" to 36" range, teflon lined and tested to 1500 psi per the ss
tag.  Before I bought the first ones I took them to the Parker Hanifin Booth
for an opinion, the rep said the shelf life is indefinite and could see no
problem as long as they are new and have a permanent mfg/test tag.

The OD on the smallest ones I have found is too large for the IV gear legs
but it will work with hard line to provide flex where needed in most other
locations.  Remember, one the objectives of attending these far flung
Fly-Ins is to "save" enough money to pay for the trip.       Steve Colwell
