Hi Eric;
I'm within a few months of ordering an engine for my Lancair Super ES. My
question has to do with the after market "upgrades" that I hear and read so
much about. In particular, I'm wondering about the GAMIjectors so many
owners are raving about, particularly on TCM engines. Would they really
improve engine performance compared to the injectors furnished on a new
IO-550N? I also heard somewhere that TCM had come out with it's own version
of the GAMIjector. When ordering a new engine, what options are available
if any? Could I request that my engine be run 5 hours or more on the test
stand for proper breakin and if so what would it cost?
Any light you could shed would be appreciated.
