I am also building an ES and also found the flap
angles specified in the manual to be
unachievable.  I think I ended up with about 11
degrees.

Do you know of any other unachievable
instructions of which I should be aware?  I am
still working on my first (right) wing and I am
working alone, so I don't have anyone to look
over my shoulder for a second opinion and
therefore must rely heavily on the manual.

This forum is a great asset to me.  To all who
have the smarts and post your ideas and comments,
I appreciate it!  Keep up the good work.
