If you've seen the ES and IV flaps side by side, you know that the
difference in size is enormous. I don't think there's any way the IV
mechanism would be adaptable to the ES. Add to that the fact that the IV
uses a hydraulically actuated push rod versus the ES's electrically actuated
torque tube and the problem becomes even more complex. This sounds like a
mod I wouldn't think is doable absent a complete redesign and I really doubt
you'd gain enough to make it worthwhile.
