Guys:
If the magnetic interference is emanating from the panel (which may not be
the only source, e.g. firewall-forward RF sources).... why not place the
shielding between the panel and wet compass? Sort of a Mu-dash panel.....
Wouldn't that solve some of the issue (assuming that the majority of "power
on" interference emanates from the panel)?
Or perhaps the combination of panel mu shield and compass mu shield?
Just brainstorming.
