Rob,
Hearing about some of the problems people have had with cooling, I was
reluctant to rob (not a personal reference!) any of the cooing air from the
clyinders. As others have done, I have a fairly large NACA scoop on the left,
lower cowling. Flexible tubing, 3", I believe, goes for the duct up and over
the upper left engine mount brace and then straight down to the A/C Spruce 9
vane oil cooler. I've had no oil or cylinder cooling problems to date. Nor ,
for that matter, have I done a high performance climb out of Tucson during the
summer time.
