This exists in the form of a Fuel Flow Totalizer with Fuel Pressure.  I have
a Electronics International guage with this feature.  The "bubbles in the
fuel line" are read as reduced pressure which lights an annunciator warning
light.  The guage can be easily programed for a minimum fuel pressure which
lights the annunciator.  Very useful to indicate an almost empty tank,
something I reccomend by the way.  It is much safer to run a tank dry at
altitude and land on the tank with all the remaining fuel in it.     Steve
