Adding paint adds more weight. You would be astonished at how much paint weighs.
I am going to paint out only the areas (with Jeffco Tank Sealer)  that might
come into contact with any type of oil. This way if a leak occurs, it is easy to
clean up. My flap access panels look good unpainted and I intend to keep them
that way, no paint.
