Thanks very much for the response. I will do all that you suggest. I will
also probably do what a local pilot told me about. That would be to not
trust the mocro limit switch completely and to put a switchable circuit in
place that bypasses all the switching wiring on the flap motor and simply
makes it run in one direction (retract). That way I would not be caught in a
bad situation on a missed approach with flaps that don't work. What do you
think of this? If it is practical I would think it would be wise for
everyone with this type of mechanism to install one.
