I don't think it is necessary to put the tips in a cradle, if they are the
short ones that come with the kit. the Clecos will support the temporary
gluing just fine. You must however be aware that the flat surface on the
bottom is in the same alignment. You will find that out when you do the
body work with long boards and sandpaper.
The stub wings are a different matter. Sight down the leading edge of the
wing and follow that line to the leading edge wingroot. Compare that
alignment with the stub wing root in its final place and work on that
solution. The apparant wing jigging and how you glue the stub wing onto the
fuselage will determine if you have a straight line on the leading edge from
wingtip to wingroot. Good luck.
