"Pop" rivets are a trademark from what I read in Sportplane a couple months ago... These are not CherryMax either, so you don't need a special (read expensive) tool. We usually use 5 evenly spaced rivets around the circumference. At least that's how the aileron interconnects and pushrods are made. I have never bucked a rivet (yet) -- I can't imagine doing that for control rods. How do you support the other end of the rivet? Whatever you do, make sure the rivet is appropriate for the control. I know soft rivets are NOT interchangeable with hard ones. I don't know how the blind rivets are specified. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> LML website: http://www.olsusa.com/Users/Mkaye/maillist.html LML Builders' Bookstore: http://www.buildersbooks.com/lancair Please send your photos and drawings to marvkaye@olsusa.com. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
