It involves changing geometry on the gear door slightly so that according to Brent you get more pressure holding the doors shut and less opportunity for them to be pulled open in flight by airpressure. You change the shape of the control horns on the doors to achieve this. I believe that suggestion was near the end of the fast pack series.
