I sure did have it before that, though! On one flight to an airport to fill up (their gas prices were low enough to warrant a 15 minute flight to buy fuel) one of my lower plugs collected a hunk of lead big enough to upset my weight and balance! Upon inspection, it looked like someone had taken a welding torch and a box of solder to it! and this was just about 10 hours after my annual where all plugs were cleaned and gapped (they only had about 50 hours on them at the time). I really don't think the intake parameters have that much to do with the problem. In talking to some wrenches at FBO's that maintain a lot of O-235's, it seems to be the consensus that it's more a result of the combustion chamber configuration and the dynamics therein. Whatever, the TCP seems to be the answer, so if any of you are having lead-fouling problems with whatever engine you are flying behind, try this miracle juice. It REALLY works for me (and others that have started using it, too).
