I am not as sharp as most of you guys out ther but I do know this. In
aircraft I have operated using 100LL I always had spark plug lead build up
problems, even with liberal leaning practices. Since I STC'd my Tri Pacer
Lycomming 0320-C to run Car gas, I have noticed that at my 100 hour
inspection (I anual my birds at 100 hours or 1 year, I fly it a lot), my
plugs are nice and clean with no lead build up. I used to rotate and clean
my plugs every 50 hours while using 100 LL but have found that practice to
be unecessary since burning car gas. Go figure.
What will I burn in my V-8 powered "fire breathing, turbo-yada-yada-yada"
Lancair IV-P? Probably the absolute best Premium Car fuel I can possibly
aquire.
