John,
Without a doubt, the cheapest, quickest and easiest solution is a pair of good noise cancelling headsets. Sealing air leaks, sound insulation and upholstery will, of course, help but the biggest single factor will be the headsets. I just got a pair of the new AKG headsets. They're my favorite among the Siennheiser, Bose, Lightspeed class of headsets.

Subject: [LML] [LNC2] Cabin Noise
The cabin noise in my 235 is so loud that I can hardly hear ATC in my
David Clark headphones. I'm using an ICOM IC-A210 radio which seems to
pick up the cabin noise and amplify it. At the moment my cockpit has no
sound insulation or upholstery which is part of the problem. Do any LNC2
drivers out there have any words of wisdom for me?
Thanks in advance--
