I could use some help easing my mind about the pressurization system on the IV-P.
What keeps a degraded or faulty turbocharger from spilling oil into the intake side of the bearing housing and contaminating the cabin air through the pressurization system? I’ve flown a lot in a Mooney with a TSIO-360 and have seen a couple of turbos have problems that resulted in throwing a significant amount of engine oil into the intercoolers. Seems like that would make for a bad day in an LIVP.
Thanks,
Karl
