All -- I must warn you, consider the source when you are evaluating Bill's comment below.  This guy only lands once every 39 hours, so of course his tires are going to last longer regardless how they're aligned.

The short answer is...yes. I have done so and am still operating with my original tires at 600+ hours. If I had not rotated the tires, they would have had to have been changed at around 450. Of course the tires must be removed and reversed on their respective rims. Moving the left wheel to the right side will not help.
