I would just use cocktail sausage or corn dogs.   There's an SB advising against cooking large fowl.   Melting cheese on triscuits is also a good idea but mouth burns have been reported as a causal factor with the NTSB in some accidents.  Don't forget, if cook turkey legs they also must be strapped down to the unit with an appropriate restraint for the expected G-loads.  Nothing like a bird strike from within the airframe.
