OK, here is a newbie question, I had no idea there was such an "option" as
all carbon.

What does this mean, and how does it contrast with the "other"
method/material? What is the other material, for that matter? :)

Thanks for all of your patience with these obviously amatuer questions.....
but this really helps the learning curve having access to really sharp
folks.

[You might want to get a current Lancair options catalog as well as a
LIV data pack to familiarize yourself with what's available from the
factory.  The "other material", BTW, is fiberglas cloth.   <Marv>    ]
