When MT made the 5blade composite for the TBM, hartzell bought the first unit, says the distributor.  3-4 years later hartzell now has its own 5 blade composite design.   For the TBM, o/h and repair costs for the hartzell were going way up and I'm told the mt blades are far cheaper/easier to repair and replace if there is damage.
