I haven't installed my cables yet (the nylaflow guides are in place) and I
have a supply of teflon powder from Dick Simkanin. Don't think I need the
tool, or do I? Recommendations as to how to apply the teflon will be
cheerfully accepted. Dick says to just work it into the cable with a rag.
Anyone tried this? Alternate ideas?

Thanks.
