Hi Stan,
I've posted a fair bit of info on the wing cuffs in recent months…… see if you can find, but if not, I'll put a story together for you.
I believe I was the first Legacy RG to fit the cuffs in mid 2011 further to Lancair's testing on their company RG. I started flying my Legacy late 2010 with the outboard leading edge sections bare carbon whist I waited for my cuffs – Lancair wanted to be sure they were all as they should be before they sent them to me.
But in summary – I feel they are a very worthwhile addition in respect of all of the characteristics you mention – but as I have noted a few times, for my installation at least – the stall speed did not reduce. There isn't much change – true – but if anything, stall speed is slightly higher – may be by 1 knot – but that's it. A friend of mine – Gary Weeks – routinely flies my aircraft and can directly compare with his own Legacy that does not have wing cuffs – prob best for him to chip in here with detailed more informed views, but I think he would agree that slow speed handling is terrific with the cuffs, better stability in the approach and generally makes the aircraft far more likely to tell you something is very wrong if you get too close to the stall – the airframe starts to shudder and carry on….. As a relatively inexperienced pilot with just over 500hrs and almost 100 hours on the Legacy, I am very glad I have these cuffs in case one day I become "distracted" and screw up!
Lancair have videos of the original flight testing, and I'm sure Kim Lorenzten would be able to give you link to them on their website (the one I have doesn't seem to work anymore) – if not I could send them to you via Dropbox or something as they are quite large files. I will take some video one day of my own – best demo would be continuous 30deg angle of bank turns dropping in and out of the stalled condition with full aileron control maintained through out!
Hope this helps!
Regards,
John

I am still building my Legacy but the wings are finished and in primer. Now Lancair has introduced a new product to add cuff airfoils to the outboard section of the wings. http://www.lancair.com/index.php/latest-news/335-legacy-cuffs
This "upgrade" addresses several of the Legacy's short comings voiced on LML: better roll control, reduced stall speed and enhanced stall warning buffet, all without effecting the top speed. New Legacy kits will include the Cuffs at no extra charge but as an upgrade the cuffs cost $1495.
Has anyone flown a cuffed wing aircraft? How may Legacy drivers would spring for the Cuff Upgrade to improve their Legacy's slow speed performance? If new Legacy kits come with the cuffs shouldn't I buy the upgrade just to prevent my Legacy from being a "classic" before it's ever built?
