My first instructor said to go up, pull back, To go down, pull way back.

Subject: [LML] A IV below 100 knots
The link shows what happened to Asiana 214. This is the same behavior a IV and all other high wing loading aircraft will have if flown too slow but still well above stall... i.e. "pull back.... don't go up". The blue ghost is the correct glide path. The engine power came up but didn't help since the airspeed was too low.... again... well above stall.
