Hi Shane,
We had a problem on ES 39WG as well.
The second time we sent the strut back to the factory (Not = Lancair, they=20 forwarded it the first time, I sent it direct the 2nd time) they = called me to=20 say that it met alll the specs for a new strut and was likely the boot = (nose=20 wheel pant).  I have movies of before and after but they are too = big to=20 email.  Bill added 17 ounces of lead shot and epoxy to the nose = cavity so=20 that the CG of the wheel pant was the same as the mounting screws that = hold it=20 to the fork.
Problem solved.  YMMV (your mileage may vary).
BTW, I have had no problems with engine vibrations so far.  = The=20 airplane now has 120 hrs. on it and I am flying it today and Sat. and = it is=20 for sale.
