You could have a fuel slosh door stuck shut by Hysol. If the tank is empty, I can not hear the slosh doors banging, but with fuel in the tank, I can hear them if I shake the plane. Could be you have more fuel in the wing but some can't get out or a bay could be plugged totally and only have air. Either way it's not good. Likely happens from too much Hysol at wing closure. Can you get a scope to check the ports inside the wing? Would be good to have access to a fuel bouser to pump fuel into and later pump it back in 5 gallons at a time to re calibrate once you get things figured out and ports cleaned out if needed. I stated that the fuel vol in my wing tanks was 37 gal per side; attributing the extra to the complete absence of speed brake provisions. However, I just got around to exhausting a fuel tank in flight, and refilled it with 34 gallons. Of the many possible variables, the one that seems most dubious is the accuracy of the 1/2 gallon measuring cup that was the basis for the original calibration. I"m still sorting through this one. > > Charley Brown > Legacy 275 hr > -- > For archives and unsub http://mail.lancaironline.net:81/lists/lml/List.html -- For archives and unsub http://mail.lancaironline.net:81/lists/lml/List.html
