Hi Rob,

AGGRESSIVELY grind, sand all the ribs as well as the spar, such that the rudder halves touch all the way around the perimeter and with little or no clamping force. You can perfect the spar/rib to skin surface using a release tape the same as you did with the vert stab. Even then, the two halves may not line up perfectly at all points. After bonding the halves together, you will need to use micro to perfect the rounded edges before you apply BID. BTY, don't expect the rudder skins to be symmetrical, do make the effort to add an electric rudder trim servo, otherwise you'll be screwing around with an aftermarket (Rob Murawski) trim tab bonded to the right skin.
