I retrofitted the wing cuffs and have been flying with them for over a year now. I collected substantial data before I fitted them to make sure I could give accurate feedback to Lancair. But in summary, IMHO they are brilliant = =AD and next to nothing penalty on cruise speed for same engine settings / fuel burn (may be knot if that), and stall speed increased by about 1 kt (NOT decreased). VH-XTZ was I believe the guinea pig and first Legacy RG to fly with the cuffs properly fitted, as compared to the flight tests Lancair conducted with the cuffs taped to a Lancair FG. Lancair have my very detailed report on fitting, body working, making fairings to blend the outboard cuff section to the wing tip and flight testing etc. Prob best to talk to Kim Lorentzen, I'm sure she will be will able to give more advice. Legacy Wing CuffsHi

Have any Legacy drivers out there considered the new wing cuffs being offer= ed by Lancair. No specific numbers offered by the factory but claims of lowe= red stall speeds and better low speed handling make it seem an interesting p= roposition for short field landings.
