My neighbor and friend is building a 320.It is an older FB with the
small tail short nose ect.I convinced him to get the long mount(which he
did)His kit was partially completed by a previous(disenchanted)builder
and has the small tail mostly done but not bonded to the fuselage.He
does not like how the tail is constructed and does not want to use
it.SOOO starts the tail controversy(BIG ?or small?)He has decided to go
with the MKII tail option (good choice)We discussed the fuselage
strengthening procedure Martin Holman recomends.I said ,it can,t hurt
anything.He then says he wants to do the bids in carbon fiber.I said you
cannot!!!!Also a lot of information has been on this LML.Of which I felt
was valid.He said"Well if that is the case then why is Lancair selling a
carbon fiber retrofit to glue onto E/Glass.Is that not the same
thing?The little guy has a point.What say all of you?
