Main spar modification needed 2. Lower top speed, but supposedly getting better at high altitudes. (No idea what "high altitudes" are) 3. More difficult to fit the wings on while I'm building in my garage. (They are 2 ft longer for each wing) 4. Makes the aircraft heavier 5. No factory option to imbed lights, must use the protruding tip lights The VG's look like they don't have all of the down sides of the extended wing tips. I think I'm talking myself out of the extended wing tips the more I think about it. -Rob From: PETER WILLIAMS Reply-To: Lancair Mailing List Date: Tuesday, June 4, 2013 12:08 PM To: Subject: [LML] BELT AND SUSPENDERS Rob my thought: BELT AND SUSPENDERS. if you do both, what is the downside? i fly like a coward. peter To: lml@lancaironline.net Date: Tue, 4 Jun 2013 09:55:19 -0400 From: rob@robmurawski.com Subject: [LML] Re: VORTEX GENERATORS Nice info on the VG's!
