Finally after months of down time, N31VP, had another first flight today. I put around 1.75 hours on it at high power full rich to break in the new engine that Barrett Performance folks sent me back a couple of months ago.
Thanks to all who gave advice especially about oil coming out of the turbos. As it turns out, the issue must have been oil drifting around the system during overhaul and seeping out when static and when running at low power for a short while. Today the engine appeared to be almost bone dry after two flights and the belly of the airplane appears to be dry and clean also. I couldn't say that for the engine before I removed it for overhaul.
There are still any issues to deal with. But who can complain; it's an airplane once more.
