a further note to Tom

stay south of the highway as you proceed from HST and MNATE. on the north side is the Aerostat. a large balloon tethered to a cable and can be up to 14,000 feet.
the first airport you come to as you near Key West is "Navy" they have multiple runways and you will have to talk them to pass through their airspace. Key West is a single east-west runway.

Naples (KAPF) is usually the cheapest gas in the country. Currently $4.66. My hangar is the one closest to the fuel pumps. Flying to KEYW takes about 25 minutes from here. I make the trip often. Going direct takes you through the ADIZ but as long as you are on a discreet xpndr code that's not an issue.
