I routinely get 165 KTS TAS at 6 GPH and 190 at 8.5 GPH at cruise altitude w= ith electronic ignition, MT prop and Fuel injection.. With gas at $6 per gallon, I am usually pulling back to 6 GPH when we are jo= y riding which is most of the flying I do . I usually see 28ish nautical mil= es per gallon at 200ish mph... Not bad.. I know others are getting better nu= mbers than that even... At those burn rates, i can manage the cost of flying multiple times per week= . Isn't there a saying "If you don't have the one you want, build the one you've got" Or something like that... And.... I smell a new thread.. The 235 is a better looking airplane than the 320/360.....
