I flew the Atlantic on 3 occasions without any survival gear except what was built into the ejection seat. (Altho it was nice to have 2 engines, suitable alternates, and a big brother to refuel from)

Subject: [LML] Floatation Devices (or full survival gear) flying over the
Great Lakes
My wife has asked how many of you have floatation devices or full survival
gear in the plane when transiting over the Great Lakes?
I'll be at FL220-FL230 and have a 20:1 glide ratio (LIVP, Feathering Prop).
I understand the math.
But how many of you carry floatation devices?
