If you have the current princeton converters, they have an led that = flashes when the converter thinks it's seeing a change. So I think you = can start with empty tanks and add fuel til you see the flash and call = that empty. Alternatively, program your converter so empty is empty and 5 gallons is = full. then empty the tanks and add gas until you get some reading. = set your new empty to whatever number of gallons that takes and now do = the real programming.
