I am not sure if you checked, but my flaps were way off from the
factory.  Kit #286.  Check to make sure both the inboard and out board
edges line up the same and the leading edge doesn't hang down from the
trailing edge/cove of the wing.  I need to change the symmetry to get
it all to work.  This maybe why one flap is going farther than the
other.   I do thin 1-2 degrees will make some difference in flight
characteristics, stall  to one side  sl more drag on the down side.  I
have no data to support this though.
