I think it would quite a bit different than a Bonanza, it might even leave the plane in flight...I had it happen on take off in my Glasair and it was quite a happening, the latch was not completely closed and I was only going 60 mph when it happened...Would not want it to happen in flight...I could not close it and had to stop to even to grab the latch...Thankful for a long runway to stop and save my bacon!

I have had door open on Bonanza prior & was really no big deal other than noisy. Wondering if same on Lancair.
