Dear Fellow LMLers,

I know that this has been discussed before on the list, but since it is a rapidly changing area…..

What are people’s recommendation on video cameras for mounting on our planes?  Specifically:

·         What type/brand of camera are people using?

·         Anyone have experience with the “Contour GPS”?

·         Where are people mounting them?  (I am thinking of mounting inside facing forward to catch the pilots view and the instruments)

·         How are people mounting them? RAM mounts?

·         Are there any precautions people are using/need to use to prevent vibration?

·         The “Contour GPS” has a feature which allows you to use your iPhone or iPad as a “viewfinder” for the camera.  Presumably the camera can also play back through the iPad.  Does anyone have any experience with this feature?
