What are people's recommendation on video cameras for mounting on our planes? Specifically: . What type/brand of camera are people using? . Anyone have experience with the "Contour GPS"? . Where are people mounting them? (I am thinking of mounting inside facing forward to catch the pilots view and the instruments) . How are people mounting them? RAM mounts? . Are there any precautions people are using/need to use to prevent vibration? . The "Contour GPS" has a feature which allows you to use your iPhone or iPad as a "viewfinder" for the camera. Presumably the camera can also play back through the iPad. Does anyone have any experience with this feature? Thanks for the help D. Dear Fellow LMLers,

I know that this has been discussed before on the list, but since it = is a rapidly changing area…..

What are people’s recommendation on video cameras for mounting = on our planes?  Specifically:

·         = What type/brand of camera are people using?

·         = Anyone have experience with the “Contour = GPS”?

·         = Where are people mounting them?  (I am thinking of mounting = inside facing forward to catch the pilots view and the = instruments)

·         = How are people mounting them? RAM mounts?

·         = Are there any precautions people are using/need to use to prevent = vibration?

·         = The “Contour GPS” has a feature which allows you to use = your iPhone or iPad as a “viewfinder” for the camera.  = Presumably the camera can also play back through the iPad.  Does = anyone have any experience with this feature?

Thanks for the help
