I just called Carlos to ask one more question, and that is what controls the maximum cabin pressure.  That is accomplished with the 1" diameter brass plunger that is opposite the bellows.  Screwing it in lowers the maximum, out lowers it.  He said it is very sensitive.  It has two holes about 1/4" apart for twisting it.
