My wife is continually amazed at my friends and acquaintances in the aviat=
ion-as-a-hobby field.  While not necessarily diplomatic or politically cor=
rect, she says they are some of the best people she's ever met.  In my opi=
nion, everyone on this list falls into that category, whether they come ac=
ross as arrogant in their emails or not.  I don't think anyone in aviation=
 tells me I'm making a mistake because they want to hurt me -- I think the=
y do it because they want to help me.  Even if their delivery may be a lit=
tle harsh.
