What typically is the life of the pump in a LNC2 (no. of landing gear operations or other measure) and is there a telltale symptom or degradation, or just an unpredictable failure to operate?

There is none. -only two screens attached to the pick-up tubes. Since the pump is reversing any debris will tend to accumulate in the lowest points of the system. Unfortunately this includes some of the cylinders.

Jack and all….. I have a friend of mine that owns a hydraulic pump repair company checking on the Parker filer. As he says now, he doubts there is a filter but he will check.

We are now talking aviation hydraulics, which is a whole different animal than we work on. I doubt that it has a filter, but I will check my Parker sources and see what I can find.

Parker will not send me or direct me to an operation or owners manual!

Tried internet, can't find it.

Mainly, I want to know if there is a cleanable filter in it... so please anyone, if you have a site for the owners manual or know if and where the filter is, let us know.
