Only satisfactory use with cell phones, however I have heard that air freight companies are refusing to transport lithium ion batteries, because they have a nasty habit if catching on fire from overheating. Nevertheless, some new electric cars are using them. Maybe they are desperate. Be careful! At only 2.5 lbs (compared to 25 lbs) and a reasonable $181 price these batteries appear to be a real breakthrough. Does anyone have any practical experience with the lithium batteries? Lorn H.
