Only satisfactory use with cell phones, however I have heard that air freight companies are refusing to transport lithium ion batteries, because they have a nasty habit if catching on fire from overheating. Subject: [LML] Lithium Batteries As I look for a replacement for my BC100-1 (ODYSSEY PC925) battery, I ran across (suggested by Wolfgang) the following batteries. At only 2.5 lbs (compared to 25 lbs) and a reasonable $181 price these batteries appear to be a real breakthrough. Does anyone have any practical experience with the lithium batteries? Lorn H.
