My 75 year old hangar mate buddy is just finishing hanging a fresh engine on his RV-6.  Our airport mob has members that are 72 and 80 and still flying (very well I might add).  I turn 65 this year and I just finished hanging a fresh engine on  my Lancair IV which I  expect to fly until it runs out of time. 
 
Definitely the wrong reason to quit flying.
