I got the 60 GB iPad.  Overkill, but I wasn't sure how much space the ForeFlight info would take up.

I loaded up every possible VFR, High and Low IFR, Approach Plates, Airport Information etc for the entire country and it consumed 10 GB.  So I have about 50 GB left for pictures of the grand kids....
