In my opinion, Lancair has shot themselves in the foot BIG TIME with this requirement.

In the future I will avoid buying anything from Lancair as long as there is ANY other source.

Why did we build kit planes in the first place?  So we could be blackmailed by the manufacturer?

I don’t think so.

If the new CEO has any business sense, he will reverse this dumb decision.
