I agree completely. I have three kids and they are expanding at an amazing pace. They are now too big to go 3 across in the back of the IV. The Skyrocket isn't going to be available soon if at all, the Comp Air is a flying Bayliner and the Lionheart just doesn't do it for me (two too many wings, I think). The Maverick Twinjet is another possibility but I don't care for the lines. Any other solution is, well, boring. A couple of years ago Don showed me his plans for a 6 place but the Ross Rocket (Tigress) project got the "Go" instead. What a waste. I would have loved to have seen that work and talent go into a project with a future. Come on Lance! Now that the Columbia is rolling and the L2K is out of the bag, don't you feel the need to be creative again? A nice 6 place with a long enough nose for the Walter or a TSIO 550 and some baggage or an Eagle or Enginair or....Remember that feeling of seeing a new design take to the air for the first time? I know you are listening. The availability of the Columbia isn't going to help IV kit sales. Time to do something new, something that hasn't been done before. If you design it, the builders will come. Wait, did you hear that? That was the sound of my checkbook sliding out of my pocket.... Just do it.
