Tom,
I am partial to quadrants from learning to fly in Pipers.  I use an ACS unit with the throttle lever cut down and the knob flipped to the opposite side.  This is the same set up as the factory 360 used to have.

It does take up more real estate than push-pull, but I love this configuration.

Subject: [LML] Throttle Quadrant in 320/360?

I have been doing a lot of formation flying with RV's recently.  This means tons of small power changes while flying 140 kts..

I had plans to change the location of my throttle/prop/mixture cables to a more comfortable location, but now I am considering a quadrant.

So, does anybody have any experience flying a 320/360 with a quadrant installed?  Good or Bad?  Any brands that are better than others?  Am I crazy for even thinking about doing this?  Are small movements possible (like formation flying) with a quadrant?

I have electric trim so my center console is empty forward of the glove box.

Thanks,
Tom McNerney
