I take my shoes off so I can feel the gentle pressures needed on the brake pedals. I should move the pivot point on the pedal to increase the required pedal force. I am looking because I have had two cracked Matco caliper housings, and one with pinhole leaks in the casting. Also, it is a pain in the butt to remove and lockwire the disc every time the wheel, tire, or brake pads need service. The Groves don't fit into my wheel wells (235 airframe), so I am looking around. Except for the price, the Beringers look great. I may end up machining some Matco-copy calipers from billet. If I do, who wants a set? I would be aiming for identical dimensions, except around the 1/8 NPT fittings, and perhaps hard teflon anodize. -bob
