I just wanted to say I attended the LOBO maintenance seminar in St Louis on Sept 12-13 and found it very helpful.
1. I just finished another annual on my IVP following attending it and was able to accomplish it with the help of a new mechanic (mine had just died with a heart attack at 67 after 25 years as my resource and good friend) and can say I was able to do so with greater confidence, knowledge, organization and ease.
2. I was able to reestablish with previous acquiantances and make new ones.
3. It is a great way to network and meet builders and avionics people, etc, as resources to resort to for issues.
4. The comraderie is wonderful. Just imagine a hanger with about 20 Lancair builders/owners/support technicians, sharing ideas, building issues, problems solved over time and plain old hanger talk.
